Bruce Miller, M.D

Bruce A. Miller, M.D. is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus (ocular misalignment) specialist. He attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at George Washington University. Dr. Miller also completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Miller returned to his native south Florida in 1994 to begin his practice limited to pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. He is the medical director of pediatric ophthalmology at the Chris Evert Women and Children's Center at Broward General Medical Center, as well as Florida's "State champion" for the National Children's Eye Care Program.  

Academic positions include clinical instructor of ophthalmology, University of Miami School of Medicine (at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute), associate clinical professor at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Miller was named Chief of Staff at the Weston Regional Health Park. He lectures extensively throughout the country and is listed in Miami Metro's magazine as one of the best doctors in south Florida. He is also listed in the Castle-Connolly Guide, "How to Find the Best Doctors-Florida".  

Dr. Miller is the pediatric ophthalmology coordinator for Children's Medical Services of Broward county. He is also medical editor of Today's Parent magazine. He serves on the vision steering committee of the Broward county school board as well as the craniofacial team of the Cleveland Clinic, Florida. He is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Pediatrics, Broward Country Medical Association, and the Broward County Ophthalmology Society.  

Dr. Miller  was one of the youngest Eagle scouts in the state of Florida.
